Op freed 20 febrewaris organisearre Pleatslik Belang wer har jierlikse Doarps-jûn. Dizze kear wie toanielselskip Nij Begjin út Nyegea te gast yn doarpshûs De Delfeart. Wy sjogge werom op in slagge jûn mei in moaie opkomst kwa besikers en in moai toanielstik. Hjirboppe wat foto’s. Slagge it net om der by wêzen? Der wie noch plak oer. Hooplik oant takom jier.

Namme foar de fytstunnel

Sa’t jimme witte meie jimme as ynwenners fan Surhuizum sels in namme betinke foar de nije fytstunnel by de Uterwei. We ha al in moai oantal nammen ynstjoerd krigen. Tank dêrfoar!

Nijs fan Pleatslik Belang

Graag stel ik mij even voor als nieuw lid van Plaatselijk Belang

Mijn naam is Gea Steensma, ik ben 48 jaar en woon sinds vier jaar aan de Mûnefinne, samen met mijn partner Hendrik Talstra, zijn twee jongens en onze puberhond Yfke. Mijn twee dochters van 21 en 24 jaar hebben inmiddels hun vleugels uitgeslagen en studeren in de Randstad.

Fietstunnel Uterwei feestelijk geopend

Vrijdag 19 december hebben gedeputeerde Matthijs de Vries en wethouder Jelle Boerema van de gemeente Achtkarspelen de nieuwe fietstunnel bij Surhuizum geopend. Zij knipten het lint door waarna inwoners en andere belangstellenden, onder het genot van snert en warme chocolamelk, door de tunnel konden lopen of fietsen. Dankzij deze onderdoorgang kunnen fietsers en voetgangers veilig onder de provinciale weg N358 de Uterwei door.

Volg live de bouw van de fietstunnel!

De werkzaamheden aan de fietstunnel bij de Uterwei zijn in volle gang - de contouren zijn al goed zichtbaar. Om dit bijzondere project van dichtbij te volgen, is er een timelapsecamera geplaatst die elke paar minuten een foto maakt. Zo ontstaat een uniek beeld van de voortgang van de bouw, van de eerste graafwerkzaamheden tot de opening eind dit jaar.

Wie liever live meekijkt, kan terecht bij het uitkijkpunt bij het hertenkamp.
