Op 8 april holden wy ús jierlikse ledegearkomste. Mei 50 oanwêzigen kinne wy sprekke fan in moaie opkomst.

Anja en Jannie De Groenstappers van Surhuizum

Zwerfafval, als je buiten loopt kun je er niet meer omheen. Ook in het nieuws komt het regelmatig aan bod. We verdrinken letterlijk in het plastic: “We eten een bankpas aan plastic per jaar”, schrijft Omroep Gelderland. De oorzaak is simpel, mensen gebruiken te veel plastic en gaan er slecht mee om. Anja Mozes en Jannie Veenstra uit Surhuizum halen voor deze mensen de kastanjes uit het vuur, zij kijken tijdens hun wekelijkse wandeling niet naar het mooie weer of de fluitende vogels, hun aandacht gaat naar de grond vol met zwerfafval.

Schilderclub

Tijdens het maken van het activiteitenoverzicht, kwam ik erachter dat er in het dorpshuis ook schilderlessen zijn. Deze lessen zijn op de dinsdagavond van 19.30-21.30 uur. Om daar wat meer over te weten te komen, ben ik gaan kijken. 

Rond 2009 is deze club, die eigenlijk al gestart is in 1989 in Harkema, i.v.m. het beëindigen van de toenmalige locatie, in Surhuizum terecht gekomen. Er zijn momenteel 8 cursisten en er is ruimte voor meer deelnemers. De oudste deelnemer is 82 jaar en de jongste 12 jaar.

Bezigheden Soos op elke donderdagmorgen in De Delfeart

De laatste weken zijn de vrouwen druk bezig geweest met allerlei leuke bezigheden o.a.:

Sommigen van ons hebben voor het eerst kennisgemaakt met het Diamond panting wat heel verrassend voor de meeste van ons waren.
Resultaten waren dan ook verbluffend.

Paar weken verder stond het maken van een windvanger op het programma.
Dit was ook een bijzonder gezellig zo met elkaar bezig te zijn.

Streetdance juf gezocht

Voor aankomend seizoen zijn wij op zoek naar een nieuwe streetdance juf.

Juf Annet zal na jaren fanatieke inzet de vereniging verlaten. Ze gaat studeren en kan de combinatie niet langer maken.

We zijn hierdoor op zoek naar een nieuwe streetdance juf. 

Graag willen aan een ieder vragen met ons mee te zoeken. We hebben hiervoor een flyer opgesteld die gedeeld kan worden op Social Media.

Opbrengst Poiesz Sponsoractie SVS

Afgelopen Vrijdag zijn we met een aantal jeugdleden naar het Sportgala van de Poiesz in Leeuwarden geweest.

Hier hebben wij een prachtige geldcheque in ontvangst mogen nemen; namelijk een bedrag van 894 euro.

We willen iedereen bedanken die met ons mee heeft gespaard. We hebben meerdere zakken munten in de brievenbus ontvangen,

maar ook de appel actie langs de deuren was een groot succes. Ook de koker bij de Poiesz in Harkema was regelmatig goed gevuld.
